Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri offered yesterday evening his condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz over the passing of Prince Badr bin Abdul Aziz.
Hariri also offered his condolences to Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz at the Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, at the head of the Lebanese delegation participating in the Janadriyah Festival.
The delegation included: Muftis Sheikh Malek Chaar, Sheikh Mohammad Ali Jouzou, Sheikh Khalil Meis, and Sayyed Ali El Amin, MPs Khaled Daher, Mohammed Hajjar and Jamal Jarrah, the coordinator of the "March 14" general secretariat Dr. Fares Soueid, the Secretary General of the Higher Islamic Council Sheikh Khaldoun Oraymet and a number of journalists.
Premier Hariri also received the members of the delegation at his residence in Riyadh and discussed with them the political situation.
Hariri stressed during the meeting the importance of forming a government that would supervise the organization of the parliamentary elections in the constitutional deadlines. He praised the positions of the President of the Republic Michel Sleiman and his insistence on holding elections on time, adding that President Suleiman is, among the presidents of the post-Taef era, the one who proved to be the most adherent to the Constitution and the National Pact.
