NNA - "Future" bloc member Deputy Ahmad Fatfat said that March 14 forces would seek seriously to reach a consensual hybrid law.
"Differences in opinion may be present among our allies but we will reach a consensual law," the MP told "Free Lebanon" radio.
He pointed that Bkirki's meeting on Wednesday did not break the jar with their Christians' allies, on the contrary there is a fixed position on the 1960 law, adding that "we said we will not present our candidates to the interior ministry unless we agree with our allies."
Fatfat said that the opposition does not reject the technical postponement of the elections if necessary but does not favor a long-term extension.
"We must not forget that the Cabinet is resigned and we must seek to form a Cabinet that fulfills its role," the MP said.
Fatfat refused to announce the name of their (Future bloc) PM candidate until the appropriate time.
