Salam confirms Lebanon's commitment to solid relations with Qatar

NNA - Prime Minister Tammam Salam confirmed Lebanon's commitment to strong relations with Qatar.

Salam's words came during a meeting on Thursday with Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Almarri.

Salam asked the Ambassador to relay a verbal message to Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad Al-Thani, in which he assured Lebanon's attachment to relations with Qatar and its appreciation to the sister country support and efforts to help Lebanon.

Separately, Salam welcomed State Minister for Administrative Development Affairs, Nabil De Freij.

The Premier also met with the Governor of Lebanon Central Bank, Riad Salameh, with discussions reportedly featuring high on financial issues.
