NNA - Outgoing Premier Najib Mikati on Wednesday took up the situation of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon, while meeting at the Grand Serail with the Deputy Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, Filippo Grandi.
The latter said following their meeting that the Agency was carrying out its utmost efforts to support these refugees.
Mikati also reviewed the latest political up-to-dates during his meeting with Caretaker Social Affairs Minister Wael Abou Faour as well as Caretaker State Minister Ali Kanso.
The outgoing Premier also met with Australian Ambassador. Lex Bartlem, and tackled with him the countries' bilateral ties.
