NNA - Outgoing Internal Security Forces Director General Ashraf Reefy stated that he leaves the ISF with a clear conscience, keeping his responsibilities entrusted in good hands.


"This comes in respect of laws and legislations, whereby no one can remain in the same place permanently," added Reefy. His stance came during the graduation ceremony of specialized ISF and General Security officers held at the General Directorate headquarters in Ashrafieh on Saturday.


Reefy praised his successor, Acting ISF Director General Roger Salem, recalling the long years they worked together in serving the Institution and nation, as a whole.


Reefy outlined the various challenges and achievements along the years of his service in heading the ISF, alongside his comrades and officers. He commended all efforts exerted by the ISF, the Lebanese Army and all other security forces, praising the sense of responsibility, patriotism and sacrifice they demonstrate in serving the nation.


Public Security Director General Abbas Ibrahim, Acting ISF Director General Roger Salem, and a number of senior officers attended the ceremony.
