NNA - A security meeting took place Wednesday afternoon at Army Commander, General Jean Qahwaji's office in Yarzeh, in the framework of joint coordination between the army and security apparatuses to follow up on the current situation.



Conferees tackled the current security developments in the country, especially with regard to the abduction operations in the region of Bekaa. Conferees agreed on a series of joint actions to combat organized crime and impose security and stability in the various regions of Lebanon.



The meeting was attended by State Prosecutor, Magistrate Hatem Madi, Internal Security Forces Chief Ashraf Rifi, State Security Director General George Qeraa, Public Security Director General, Abbas Ibrahim, Intelligence Chief, Edmond Fadel, and Information Branch Chief, Emad Othman.
