NNA - Kataeb Head Amine Gemayel on Tuesday warned of having security instability in Syria be the cause for security chaos in Lebanon.



Gemayel, currently in Washington, lectured on the "Arab Awakening and enhancement of the Democratic path" at the German Marshall Fund of the United States headquarters in Washington.



Kataeb leader appealed to the international community to help secure the Lebanese northern borders by deploying forces to preserve security.



Gemayel noted that the Arab world was in a position to respond to the changes and transformations.



"Building a democratic Syrian state is without doubt a victory for democracy," he said.
