NNA - Deputy Riad Rahal called for forming an economic salvation cabinet of businessmen and economic professionals that works for Lebanon's interest and supervises the upcoming parliamentary elections.
"We want elections to be on schedule based on the 1960's law," Rahal told "Free Lebanon" radio on Tuesday.
He said that March 8 calls for dialogue before the formation of the new cabinet were to keep Lebanon in constitutional vacuum to meet the intentions of the Syrian regime.
He added that senior political leaders should have a closed meeting of which they do not go out except after finding solution to all pending files, on top of them the file of illegal arms.
"The cabinet has already resigned, and the constitutional approach demands conducting consultations not calling for dialogue" Rahal said.
