Moussawi: For closing of ranks between all sects
NNA - MP Ghazi Zeaiter considered that the government has resigned at a very critical period in the whole Arab region, with strife and evil threatening the country whilst the Zionist enemy is awaiting the suitable timing to attack Lebanon. He, thus, urged all sides and forces in the country to rise-up to the level of responsibility with regards to preserving civil peace and preventing all strife attempts; hence, sparing Lebanon from being plunged into a vicious circle of chaos.
"We have to rally around our national army and halt all campaigns waged against the resistance movement, for we are all in the position of defending the sovereignty of our land, sea and airspace against Israeli violations," added Zeaiter.
Zeaiter's words came during his presence at a memorial event organized in the town of Britel in Baalbek, representing House Speaker, Nabih Berry.
In turn, MP Hussein Moussawi, who was also present at the memorial ceremony, gave a word on behalf of Hizbollah, in which he called on all sides in the country to join efforts to preserve Lebanon's security and stability, discarding any and all strife attempts.
Moussawi urged all Christian and Muslim sects to close their ranks and preserve the country's national unity and consensus, so as to remain strong in the face of the Zionist enemy's threats.
