"Development and Liberation" bloc does not mind to extend the term of Rifi in office," he stressed.
On the other note, the MP expected that salary scale issue would pass in today's (Thursday) Cabinet session, adding "opinions are close and the will to agree on this issue is found."
Jaber called on the concerned sides to wait until consultations inside the Cabinet are over.
Commenting on the possibility that the President Michel Sleiman might suspend the Cabinet's session in case the elections supervisory committee is not formed, Jaber urged not to disrupt the Cabinet's work as the country does not need another crisis.
The MP stressed "need to reach a consensual law for the upcoming elections."
