NNA - "Future" bloc member Deputy Khaled Zahraman blamed Hezbollah for the abductions and security incidents that took place recently and accused the party of not respecting the state's reputation.
"Hezbollah's illegal arms are the reason for the ongoing security chaos in Lebanon," he stressed.
Zahraman told Voice of Lebanon - Freedom and Dignity - radio that the attack against the Sheikhs last Sunday was a critical incident which might have led to strife, calling on all sides to reduce provocative speeches to evade strife.
Zahraman praised President Michel Sleiman's position concerning the Syrian raid on Lebanon and expressed surprise over Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour's delay in taking any step so far.
"The Cabinet should resign or deal seriously with the subject of sovereignty, because the repetitive violations by the Syrian regime show that this Cabinet is accomplice with the regime and is unable to take a step to condemn the breaches," the MP concluded.
