NNA - Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Qabbani received phone calls from both President of the Republic Michel Sleiman and Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri in which they condemned the attack over four of Dar El-Fatwa sheikhs.
Each of Sleiman and Berri briefed the Mufti on their intensive efforts to know the outcome of the investigation with the attackers to hamper strife.
It is to note that four Sheikhs were attacked in Beirut Sunday evening, almost dragging the country into chaos after road blockades were put up in the capital as well as in the southern city of Sidon and in east Lebanon's Bekaa Valley.
The Lebanese Army, however, swiftly moved to arrest the perpetrators.
