NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, received on Monday at his residence in Ain Tineh Deputy Assistant Secretary of Foreign Affairs for the Middle East, Lawrence Silverman, with talks featuring high on overall developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the oil exploration issue.
Separately, Berri received Interior and Municipalities Minister, Marwan Charbel, and reviewed with him the general situation.
Amongst Ain Tineh's visitors had been head of the Dialogue Party, Fouad Makhzoumi, who said that the government's elections law draft will hopefully shift Lebanon forward from confessional formulas to national ones.
