NNA - Justice Minister, Shakib Qortbawi, began a visit to Morocco Sunday evening, accompanied by Head of House Commissions Association against Corruption, MP Ghassan Mkheiber, and representatives of the Administrative Development Ministry and UNDP. Qortbawi's visit comes in preparation for chairing the session by Arab Association for Combating Corruption, which will be held upcoming April 2013.
During his 2-day visit, Qortbawi will be meeting with Moroccan officials. He will also hold talks with Head of the Arab Association for Boosting Honesty and Combating Corruption, Abdel-Salam Abou Darrar, over the Moroccan experience related to combating corruption. They will also tackle preparations for transferring the Association's presidency over to Minister Qortbawi, following his election as head for the 2013-2014 round.
It is to note that a conference shall be held in Beirut during the upcoming month within the Association's work scope, in which several Arab countries and civil bodies shall partake.
