NNA - Member of Parliament, Anwar al-Khalil, on Tuesday warned in a tweet of "an upcoming social explosion." 

“The Central Statistics in Lebanon stated that inflation in 2020 exceeded 82% and will rise this year, and a World Bank report shows that the Lebanese income per capita has become the worst among 144 countries. The emigration of young people has increased three times in comparison to 2016. The formation of a government is a supreme national responsibility, especially as people suffer impoverishment. Beware of an impending social explosion,” Khalil tweeted.
