NNA – Caretaker Minister of Industry, Imad Hoballah, called Sunday via his Twitter account for prolonging the lockdown period, saying:

“The current emergency phase necessitates:  

-Extending the lockdown

 -Commitment by everyone, or obliging all to adhere to strict preventive measures without exception

-Ceasing all household gatherings

-Rationalizing subsidies (as has been done for the industry)

-Supporting needy families

-Cooperating in any way possible

-Postponing political confrontations

-Forming the government.
