Le Drian: Paris awaits actions from Turkey, considers statements of calm 'insufficient'

NNA - French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian announced that Paris awaits "actions" on part of Turkey before the European Council convenes in December, which will address the issue of new sanctions against Ankara.

"It is not enough to notice, two or three days ago, statements of calm on the part of Turkish President (Recep Tayyip) Erdogan, there should be actions," he asserted in a press statement.

Le Drian's comment comes in wake of Turkish President's "dialogue call" to the European Union.
