NNA - MP Wael Abu Faour called on the Caretaker Minister of Education, Tarek al-Majzoub, to reconsider the decision on school resumption.

"When the infection rate was 8 percent, the Ministry of Education took a decision to close schools. Now that the rate has become 10 percent, the Ministry decided to re-open schools and it is clear that the decision lacks intelligence and wisdom," Abu Faour said in an issued statement today.

"I call on the Minister of Education to withdraw his decision, so that schools do not turn into an additional reason for the persistent health crisis," he underlined.
