MSD: Medicine, cash aid in support of affected communities in Beirut Port explosion

NNA - MSD (known as "Merck" in the United States and Canada) on Thursday announced in a statement that it has provided medicine worth $ 2.8 million, in addition to cash assistance worth $ 300,000, as part of its contribution to help humanitarian response operations following the explosion that rocked Beirut on August 4, 2020.

MSD General Manager confirmed his company's commitment to providing support to the people of Beirut "during these extremely difficult times that they endure."

"We hope that these contributions made by our company and our employees all over the world will provide assistance to help rebuild this wonderful city again," he added.
