NNA - Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri said that he had asked the Future Parliamentary Bloc to withdraw from the evening legislative session, following the debate that took place on the draft amnesty law.

He told reporters: “I asked the bloc to withdraw from the session because, as usual, we are working to reach somewhere, but there are those who want to bring us back to square one. No, the Future Movement will take a stance. Today I will withdraw from the session and we will announce a stance in the future. We are working in good faith to reach a general amnesty law that includes the largest number of people regardless of some reservations made by some blocs.”

Hariri considered that Speaker Nabih Berri made a great effort and tried to walk between the contradictions, but there is an attempt by some to outsmart the others.

Asked who prevented the approval of the amnesty law, Hariri mockingly answered: Political Harirism.-- Hariri Press Office
