Ministerial Crisis Cell tackles fresh Coronavirus issue: Strict measures have been adopted at the airport and all transit stations

NNA - The Ministerial Crisis Cell convened on Saturday at the Grand Serail, headed by Prime Minister, Hassan Diab.

Conferees included the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Zeina Adra, Minister of Public Health Hamad Hassan, Minister of Environment and Administrative Development Demianos Kattar, Minister of Trade and Economy Raoul Naameh, Interior Minister Mohamed Fahmy and Energy Minister Raymond Ghajar.

The committee discussed the issue of the Coronavirus, and decided on strict measures at the Beirut International Airport and all transit stations, as well as limiting flights to and from countries that have suffered from the disease.

Moreover, the Ministerial Cisis Cell agreed on establishing a government hospital in each governorate to receive any infected person with this virus, to be isolated and confined, in addition to a decision to prevent the export of protective masks and prevent their monopoly by merchants.

At another level, the Ministerial Cell commissioned the Minister of Trade and Economy to take the appropriate decision in terms of resolving the discussion over raising the price of bread.

The Minister of Environment and Administrative Development also presented two plans to deal with the waste file.

On the subject of electricity, the Minister of Energy presented the issue of importing diesel oil from abroad, the size of Lebanon's need for this substance in various sectors, and the issue of opening credits for the state's share in the local market.
