Ghosn's hearing session kicks off

NNA - The hearing session with former CEO of Renault-Nissan, Carlos Ghosn, has started at the Palace of Justice in Beirut.


Ghosn is under investigation before the Lebanese judiciary against the backdrop of two files, the first of which being the content of the Interpol Red Notice issued by Japan, and which arrived in Lebanon three days ago and contains charges against Ghosn about tax evasion and corruption cases. As for the second file, it is based on the claim made by lawyers Ali Abbas, Hassan Bazzi and Jad Tohme, on the crime of economic normalization with the Israeli enemy.


Attorney General at the Court of Cassation, Ghassan Owaidat, will later listen to Ghosn’s testimony on the claims of his entry into Israel.
