Kouyoumdjian: We will support judicial candidates, object to Audit Bureau appointments

NNA - Minister of Social Affairs Richard Kouyoumdjian said that the "judicial appointments will be tackled today at the cabinet, and we cannot apply to the judiciary the mechanism applied to other employees because a judge cannot be treated as an ordinary administrative employee."

He said in an interview with Voice of Lebanon - Dbayeh that his party will support the candidates running for judicial posts, but it will "object to the appointments of the Audit Bureau as they do not meet the required standards in terms of seniority and efficiency."

With regard to the 2020 budget, he said "We have not reached a position, but we are against the taxes that affect the middle and poor classes.
