NNA - Head of Future parliamentary bloc, Fouad Siniora, met Friday at Bayt-al-Wasat with the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Didier Reynders, who voiced his country's sympathy with Lebanon over the fresh assassination of former minister Mohammad Shatah last week.



Both Siniora and Reynders discussed the current juncture in Lebanon and the broader Arab region, and shone particular light on the Syrian crisis and the massive influx of Syrian refugees, which the visiting diplomat deemed as "unbearable."



Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon, Colette Taquet, and lawmakers Ahmad Fatfat, Atef Majdalani, and Bassem Shabb attended the meeting.


Siniora later met with US Ambassador, David Hale, with talks touching on latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
