NNA - Three Syrian-launched mortar shells fell within the outskirts of the town of al-Khalsa along the west banks of the "Great River," NNA field correspondent in Akkar reported Wednesday evening.
Meanwhile, medium to heavy machine-gunning from the Syrian side also reached the town of Bani Sakher within the region of Wadi Khaled, causing damages to a number of civilian houses, which resulted in a state of fear amongst residents, NNA correspondent added.
