NNA - Mufti of Tripoli and the North, Sheikh Malek Shaar, eulogized Sunday former Minister, martyr Mohammad Shatah, vowing never to yield in the face of terror and destruction.
Shatah and six others died in a car bomb attack in Down Town Beirut Friday.
Speaking during the funeral of Shatah at Mohammad al-Amine Mosque, the Mufti said that the other team has opted for murder and mayhem, leaving one martyr after another on its way.
"We will not rest and we will not back-down from the path of building a country, a culture and high human value, we will not concede defeat and we will never adopt terrorist ideas," he said.
"The Lebanese will know that a day will come when righteousness will reign supreme and moderation will rule the day."
He concluded by confirming that very soon the long awaited Cabinet would be formed.
