NNA - Kataeb coordinator MP Sami Gemayel denounced on Friday the assassination of former Minister Mohammad Shatah.



Gemayel said that Shatah was a man of remarkable political openness and among the few who called for and believed in dialogue.



"Shatah's brother has a Kataeb membership card which proves the moderation of the family," he said.



Gemayel offered most sincere condolences to the family of the victim and all the Lebanese people.
