NNA - House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Monday received at his residence in Ain el-Tineh a delegation of the Gathering of Nasserite Parties and Forces, with talks touching on the overall developments at the local and regional scenes.
Speaking after the visit, head of the Ittihad Party, Abdul Rahim Mourad, voiced rejection to any fait accompli government as it would take the country to the path of anonymous.
Afterwards, Berri received the Secretary General of the Arab Parliamentary Union, Noureddin Boshkoj, who informed his host of the preparations for the union's conference scheduled for next month in Kuwait.
Separately, Berri met with Caretaker Justice Minister, Shakib Qortbawi, over judicial affairs.
The Speaker also received Dr. Layla Nicholas Rahbani who presented him with her newly published book titled, "International Criminal Courts - Accomplishments and Failures."
