NNA - Outgoing Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour said Sunday that the contacts made by the Ministry with the Lebanese residents in Juba resulted in the return of 45 Lebanese expatriates Saturday night aboard Egypt Airlines, while 60 others are expected tomorrow and another 50 Lebanese chose to stay in southern Sudan.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had made telephone contact with the Egyptian embassy in Beirut to assist the Lebanese who want to leave Juba," said Mansour, noting that the Egyptian ambassador promptly responded to this request.
He likewise reported that similar contacts were made with the Consul General of Ethiopia, for the same purpose.
