Mansour follows up on Lebanese community situation in Juba


NNA - Caretaker Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Adnan Mansour, currently in Abidjan on an official visit, followed up on the present situation of the Lebanese community in Juba, south Sudan, through multi diplomatic channels.



Around 900 Lebanese are currently residing in Juba, south Sudan.



In this framework, Mansour received a phone call from the Lebanese Businessman based in Juba since 2006, Ali Merhi, who assured him that the situation of the Lebanese there is stable and sound. He also notified the Minister that he has received around 130 Lebanese and 50 other Syrians, securing accommodation for them at his the Crowne Hotel affiliated to the "Skyline" Company which he owns.
