NNA - The Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued on Monday a statement which clarifies that the shooting that happened overnight in the border area of Ras Naqoura border, the army command indicates that what happened was caused by an individual behavior carried out by one of the soldiers.



The Army noted that the military commission took the investigations lead into this matter.



It also affirmed that coordination is underway with the United Nations interim forces in Lebanon to deal with the repercussions of the incident, and once again confirmed the leadership's full commitment to the UN Security Council resolution 1701, especially to maintain the stability of the border areas in cooperation and coordination with international forces.
