NNA - A 9-9-6 Cabinet is the only one acceptable to March 14, Druze politician of the Tawheed Unification party, Wi'am Wahhab, told visiting Russian ambassador Alexander Zasypkin at his Jahliyyeh residence Saturday.


Not installing a 9-9-6 cabinet by the president is tantamount to playing with fire, Wahhab warned. He added that Russia's attitude paves the way for holding Geneva 2 amid a virtually non-existent opposition essentially made up of a bunch of Takfirists, as he said.


Wahhab cited the prime task of Geneva 2 as stemming the rising tide of the Takfirists and halting all cross border flow of gunrunning; he called for stringent border control along the Syrian-Lebanese and Syrian-Turkish borders lest that chaos engulfs the whole region soon. He also warned that in view of the absence of the state, fighting in Qalamon and Jabal al-Sheikh risks exporting further Jihadist gunmen into Lebanon.


Zasypkin echoed Wahhab when he stated need for stemming the Takfirists and holding Geneva 2 without delay under the auspices of the international community.
