NNA - An intense storm hit Lebanon last night and caused a rise in snow level to 40 centimetres in mountainous regions above 1100 meters, leading to a complete shut down of most roads in Bekaa, NNA correspondent reported Saturday.
Cars which are not equipped with metal chains to their wheels are unable to pass through the mountains. It is to note, however, that the following roads are still open: Northern Bekaa, Baalbek, Riyak, Zahle, and Shtoura.
