Abu Sleiman meets Egyptian, Jordanian counterparts

NNA - On the sidelines of the 46th Arab Labor Conference in Egypt, Minister of Labor Kamil Abu Sleiman met with his Egyptian counterpart, Mohammad Saafane, in presence of Lebanon's Ambassador in Cairo Ali Hassan Halabi.

Talks reportedly touched on the bilateral relations and the difficulties the Lebanese nationals are encountering in Egypt in terms of work permits.

Conferees also discussed affairs relevant to the Egyptian workforce in Lebanon. Both sides agreed to adopt a series of measures to address the pressing problems.

Abu Sleiman also held talks with his Jordanian counterpart, Samir Said, over the reverberations of the Syrian refugee crisis on the workforce in Lebanon in Jordan.

The pair also dwelt on the economic situation in the two countries.
