NNA - The Ministry of Finance announced on Friday in a statement that Caretaker Minister of Finance, Mohammed Safadi, confirmed that "coordination between the Ministry of Finance and the Public Prosecutor's Office of Finance was, and still is, ongoing".
The statement added that the financial prosecutor asked Minister Safadi to provide him with data related to the Ministry of Finance and nothing else.
The statement was issued in response to some media news published on Friday that the financial prosecutor summoned Caretaker Ministries of Finance and Public Works, Mohammed Safadi and Ghazi Aridi, respectively.
