NNA - No falling into pitfalls of psychological warfare due to the assassination of Lakkees, Hizbullah parliamentarian Nawwaf Mousawi, warned during a funeral of a slain party member at the Housayniyya Mosque of Majdel -Zoun today.
Vesting the Lebanese military with security-keeping in Tripoli is indeed a wise decision provided that army's hands won't remain tied to its back, Mousawi retorted.
It is the Israelis who carried out the murder regardless of the local tools deployed, the deputy exclaimed. The killing of the Hizbullah officer by the Israelis won't lead us to exaggerate their power and surveillance of our forces for we blame local media outlets for doing just that, Mousawi added. Apparently addressing party constituency, the deputy warned them against losing their self-confidence in the wake of Lakkees's murder arguing that Hizbullah experienced the Israelis at first hand and for so long such that they won't retract now in the face of losing such a cherished key party member. Mousawi, stressed need for dealing a preemptive anti-Takfeeri blow against the fanatics in a bid to spare Lebanon an eventual undesired outcome.
