NNA - The Higher Islamic Council condemned all attacks and explosions that affect all Lebanese regardless of the side they belonged to, warning against any potential discord that threatens Lebanon and its people.



The Council held its regular meeting chaired by the Mufti of the Republic Mohammad Rashid Qabbani, this Saturday at Dar Al-Fatwa.



Conferees reviewed recent developments on both the local and regional levels.



The Council also hailed the implementation of the security plan in Tripoli, for it "emphasized the importance of the relationship between the army and the people."



They called on the state disengage the capital of North Lebanon from the local and regional conflicts and implement development projects for the city.
