NNA - Outgoing Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Saturday affirmed that the Lebanese High Relief Commission (HRC) will continue its work despite the hurdles and difficulties it encountered lately.



Mikati said during his meeting with a delegation of the HRC, Mikati said the Committee was established to serve the people and solve their urgent problems across Lebanon.



He added that the committee's work, mainly after the latest problems, should be under the ceiling of the law and should enjoy honesty and transparency.



Separately, Mikati received a delegation of the Shariaa Council, headed by Sheikh Omar Meskaoui.



Talks focused on the recent developments in terms of the Council's affairs.



Mikati finally met with the Secretary General of the Lebanese-Syrian Higher Council Nasri Khoury.
