Lebanese Parliamentary delegation participates in Islamic Parliamentary Union Conference in Rabat

NNA - The Lebanese parliamentary delegation participating in the conference of the Islamic Parliamentary Union in Rabat, which includes Deputies Qassem Hashem and Ihab Hamadeh, continued to attend the conference sessions, and held meetings with the participating parliamentary delegations.

The delegation visited Speaker of the Moroccan House, Habib al-Maliki, and met with a number of delegations, especially the Jordanian, Kuwaiti, Iraqi and Algerian.

The Lebanese MPs stressed the importance of "cooperation between parliaments at all levels so as to translation the decisions and recommendations of the conferences into joint parliamentary action, which would positively impact the relations between our countries, entities and peoples."
