NNA - Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adnan Mansour, met Thursday with the director of the political affairs of the British Foreign Affairs Ministry Simon Gass, over the impending Geneva talks, set for January 22.



The pair reportedly highlighted the necessity to fight rampant terrorism now threatening the security and stability of the entire region.



Talks also touched on the Iranian nuclear dossier and the fresh deal reached between the Islamic Republic and the P5+1 in Geneva.



UK Ambassador to Lebanon, Tom Fletcher, attended the meeting.


Mansour later met with the European Union Ambassador to Lebanon Angelina Eichhorst, French Ambassador Patrice Paoli, and German Chargé d'Affaires.
