NNA - The family of citizen Bassim Mahfouz managed to miraculously survive an arson which flared up in the oil reservoir of his 4X4 vehicle, parked in front of his house, the the West Bekaa region of Jeb Jennine, National News Agency correspondent reported Tuesday.



Mahfouz and his neighbors managed to extinguish the arson at dawn and save his eight-member family before the car could explode.



The fire was found to have resulted from a piece of cloth that was drenched in oil and thrown into the reservoir.
