NNA - The Customs Directorate on Tuesday issued a statement blaming media figures in Al Jadeed TV for lacking the sense of journalism and professionalism in media in light of today's incidents in front of the customs department.


The statement lambasted Al Jadeed TV members, notably Riad Qobeissi, who, according to the statement, were the first to attack and violate against the premises of the directorate.


It indicated that the customs members acted in accordance with a notice from the general prosecution that called for catching hold of violaters and referring them to the judicial authority.
