NNA - Deputy Marwan Fares said on Tuesday that Israel was mostly effected by the Iranian nuclear deal, adding that this agreement would have a positive impact on the Syrian situation.
The lawmaker said that Geneva 2 conference was a pressing need for all sides.
On another note, the Deputy expressed sorrow that "the Saudi kingdom backed the terrorists in Syria," adding that "this support is part of the Saudi policy which is collapsing slowly."
On another note, he considered that Speaker of the House Nabih Berri's statements from Tehran had proven deep ties Lebanon and Iran.
"No doubt that there will be a new situation in the Middle East region to be set by the new Iranian policy," the MP told "Sawt el Chaiib" radio.
Concerning the Cabinet issue, Fares said that the Saudi kingdom had impeded the Cabinet formation, stressing "that the Saudi role in Lebanon is negative so far".
On the other hand, the MP described Deputy Sami Gemayel's statement concerning the incident that happened yesterday in USJ as "sectarian", adding that they want to divide universities which would result in the destruction of Lebanon.
