NNA - President of the Republic, Michel Sleiman, arrived Monday afternoon in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for talks with senior Saudi officials over "means to boost the historical ties of friendship and cooperation between Lebanon and the KSA, especially in light of developments at the regional scene," as mentioned in a statement by Baabda palace earlier.



At the airport, the President was received by Crown Prince Salman Ben Abdul Aziz and a panel of top officials.



The two men headed next to the palace of KSA's Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz.



Sleiman was scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia in late September, but the trip was postponed by the Saudi side.
