NNA - Member of Parliament, Marwan Hamadeh, said on Friday in condemnation of the assassination of Former Minister Mohammad Shatah that "this message is a continuation to other roaring messages", pointing out that it is a message to everyone who would testify at the Special Tribunal of Lebanon (STL) over the involvement of five of Hizballah members in the assassination of late Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.
Unfortunately, there is no place in Lebanon for people like Mohammed Shatah who defends moderation and openness and was lately studying a project to revive the Lebanon, Hamadeh said.
The Lawmaker added that the message was also directed to the moderation of the President of the Republic Michel Sleiman, the designation of Tammam Salam as Prime Minister and the funding of STL by Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
Hamadeh wondered why the assassination of Late Shatah came at a time when Lebanon got close to two expected exits, cabinet formation and developing the idea of shunning Lebanon regional conflicts.
